Associate Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Patiwet Wuttisarnwattana is an IEEE Senior Member whose research bridges biomedical imaging and applied AI. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (2015) from Case Western Reserve University, where his early work on whole-mouse cryo-imaging and stem cell biodistribution in graft-versus-host disease was published in IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging and Scientific Reports. His current research develops AI systems for detecting and analyzing oral potentially malignant disorders and oral cancer, including the RISKOCA/AIDOC platform deployed nationally under Thailand's Department of Health and the NRCT-funded eDENT-ELDER project extending this work to elderly screening populations. He serves as Publication Chair for IEEE ICME 2026.
